Metal Ceiling Clip In

Metal Ceiling Clip-In System

The Metal Ceiling Clip-In System is a type of suspended ceiling system where ceiling tiles are clipped into a concealed grid system. This system is popular for its clean and seamless appearance, as the suspension grid is hidden from view. The system provides easy access to the ceiling void, where tiles can be removed and reinstalled effortlessly for maintenance or other purposes.

Key Features:

  • Suspension System: The clip-in tiles are supported by a suspension system made from 0.5 mm galvanized steel profiles, which are attached to the roof structure. G.I. (Galvanized Iron) suspension angles are spaced at a maximum of 1200 mm center to center, ensuring stability along the clip-in profile.
  • Ease of Access: One of the unique advantages of the clip-in system is that tiles can be easily removed and reinstalled, making it convenient for inspections, maintenance, or modifications. This feature is especially useful in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Concealed Grid: The tiles clip onto the runner, concealing the suspension grid, and giving the ceiling a sleek, uninterrupted surface.
  • Durability: The tiles, made from galvanized steel or aluminum, are strong, lightweight, and resistant to corrosion. They maintain their structural integrity in industrial or commercial environments and are easy to clean due to their smooth surface.

Material Specifications:

  • Tile Dimensions: Standard tile size of 600 mm x 600 mm.
  • Material:
    • Galvanized Steel Tiles: Made from 0.50-1 mm thick polyester coil-coated steel with 120 gsm zinc coating, or powder-coated with 50 microns of polyester paint.
    • Aluminum Tiles: Made from 0.70-1 mm thick aluminum sheets, powder-coated with 50 microns of polyester paint.

Perforations:

  • Tile Types: The system supports both plain tiles and perforated tiles. Perforations are often customized to suit client requirements and may vary depending on the manufacturer.
  • Perforation Benefits: Perforated tiles offer enhanced acoustic performance, allowing for better sound absorption and noise reduction, making them ideal for use in spaces like offices, auditoriums, and conference rooms.

Applications:

  • Industrial & Commercial Use: Due to their washability and durability, clip-in tiles are widely used in industrial settings, commercial buildings, hospitals, and cleanrooms.
  • Architectural Aesthetic: The clip-in system’s concealed grid provides a minimalist, modern appearance, preferred by architects and interior designers.

The Metal Ceiling Clip-In System combines functionality, easy maintenance, and aesthetic appeal, making it a versatile solution for a range of ceiling design projects.
